Securing access to affordable and stable housing without forgoing other necessities has become increasingly challenging for low-income Ontarians. Many organizations, from both the private sector and front-line agencies, are advocating for the introduction of an Ontario Housing Benefit to ease the burden of housing costs for social assistance recipients and the working poor.
