Community Voices is a group of the Poverty Task Force for and by people with lived expertise of poverty to connect, learn, share lived experiences and advocate to prevent and solve poverty issues. Composed of community members in Guelph and Wellington County, Community Voices informs and participates in the Poverty Task Force’s collaborative work to advocate for system and policy change to address the root causes of poverty.

Community voices supports and carries out this work by:

• sharing lived experiences with poverty
• connecting & learning together
• increasing awareness & understanding of poverty solutions
• advocating to prevent and solve poverty.
