The Income Security Action Group (ISAG), in partnership with the Guelph & Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination, hosted a workshop series on social system navigation in Guelph and Wellington.
The purpose of these workshops was to increase the leadership potential, working knowledge, and networking skills of front-line volunteers and social service providers so they are able to better direct and connect low-income community members with the appropriate social supports.
The Sold Out workshop series concluded on November 14th, and the Poverty Task Force is pleased to report that all eight workshops were attended by a diverse group of community members.
“These workshops were great! Super informative” participant
“I gained valuable knowledge from these workshops” participant

Thank You to all who volunteered time and resources, and thank you to all who attended! Without your enthusiasm and commitment to community outreach, we would not have been able to host such an event.
