Advance Your Voice 2013 is a FREE 6-week public speaking, social justice and community advocacy-training program for six people from Guelph and Wellington who are living in poverty or have experienced living in poverty.
Graduates from this 6-week training program will have the skills to confidently advocate for social justice, and give the realities and consequences of poverty a louder and broader voice within our community.
Graduates of the program will have the opportunity to speak publicly (board meetings, community events, etc.) in order to put a human face to poverty.
