Guelph-Wellington Community Cold Weather Response Plan for People Experiencing Homelessness
The Guelph & Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination is pleased to work with Guelph Police Service, Wellington County OPP, Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington, Wyndham House, Welcome In Drop In Centre, and Guelph Community Health Centre to develop a cold weather response plan for those experiencing homelessness. This plan outlines a protocol for partners to work together to help those experiencing homelessness find and get to emergency shelter in periods of cold weather.
